Around the world in 80 seconds. Directed by Romain Pergeaux & Alex Profit. A project done in only 3 weeks. This route is a tribute to the famous Jules Verne’s book “Le tour du monde en 80 jours”. MUSIC vs SOUND DESIGN
Wikipedia: Sound design is the process of specifying, acquiring and manipulating audio elements. It is employed in a variety of disciplines including film, theatre, music recording, live music performance, and computer game software development. Sound design most commonly involves the manipulation of previously composed audio, such as previously recorded music and sound effects. In some instances it may also involve the composition or manipulation of audio to create a desired effect or mood. A Sound Designer is one who practices the art of sound design.

Storyboards are graphic organizers such as a series of illustrations or images displayed in sequence for the purpose of pre-visualizing a motion picture, animation, motion graphic or interactive media sequence.

Il workshop ha avuto come obiettivo costruire un racconto audiovisivo a tecnica mista.
Gli studenti sono stati divisi in otto gruppi.
Ogni gruppo ha scritto la sceneggiatura del proprio capitolo. Una sceneggiatura breve, sulle visioni dei propri futuri.
La regola che ha articolato la continuità tra i capitoli è stata quella del gioco “i cadaveri squisiti”:
La versione originale del gioco prevede che un gruppo di giocatori componga una poesia o un racconto alternandosi alla scrittura, con il vincolo che ogni partecipante può vedere solo la parola finale del contributo precedente.

Una volta definita la concatenazione delle singole sceneggiature, ogni gruppo ha provveduto a visualizzare la propria, utilizzando tecniche miste quali, riprese video, slideshow fotografici, semplici stopmotion, disegni al tratto, e qualsiasi altro strumento utile a creare una narrazione visiva che accompagnasse quella testuale.
