This is “The Great Camera Escape”, the final project by the NABA Summer School 2010 Photography and Moving Image course.
A short movie featuring stop-motion, pixilation and pika pika techniques, shot during the hottest days of the year around Milan and Naba campus, and with a title inspired by the cult movie “The great escape” feat. Steve McQueen!

The theme of Design Currency 2010 is ‘Defining the Value of Design’. To promote the event and play off the ideas of currency and value, Giant Ant Media designed and printed over 2200 custom bills and fed them through a money counter to create this animation.
